Why write "another" Spanish book?
After several years of teaching using various books and methods, Myrna realized
that students needed a system that would allow them to
learn quickly, with minimal memorization and with resources that would be
effective and enjoyable. She also considered it essential to have a book
focused on the main topics that adult learners need,
(especially since those books were either non-existing
or extremely expensive and took forever to finish). The book had to have
answers, and finally, it had to be complemented with a CD, so the students
could listen, repeat, and polish their new language skills. Thus, the Fundamental Spanish
System was born!

About the Author:
Myrna Perez is originally from Mexico City; with a degree in
Communication Sciences, speaks Japanese and French besides English and Spanish
and has a masters in teaching foreign languages. Myrna started as a
teacher in Minnesota, where she used her
experience as a professional business communicator and language teacher to share
her love and passion for the Spanish language. She has written several books
and besides writing and
